But, before looking at our products, it may be worth clarifying exactly what our stoves are and the benefits to you of using renewable energy heating.

Renewable Fuel

Multi fuel stoves burn, coal, wood, smokeless coal, coke and biomass fuel such as pellets. It should be noted however that here in the Uk the Clean Air Act prohibits the burning of coal or wood in urban areas but of course one of the attractions of a multi fuel stove is that you have plenty of alternative fuel options!

By the way it should be noted here that, rather confusingly, the industry standard term for these kind of stoves are referred to as 'wood burning stoves'! So we'll use noth terms on this site...

Can I Cook On It?

It's surprising how often we are asked this. Needless to say multi fuel stoves are used for heating rather than for preparing Sunday lunch and as our products are made from cast iron they do a great job of generating luxurious heat.

The beauty of a cast iron multi fuel stove is that is that it will retain and radiate its heat long after the fire has been extinguished which makes it hugely efficient in saving energy and reducing energy costs.
